Observe…..Breathe


Talasana- Sanskrit for “Palm Tree”.

Staying in a state of balance,rooted like a palm tree in a storm, grounded on your feet with two feet touching, and centered in your SELF while the chaos swirls around you without you getting swept away by it.


Samasthiti- “state of balance”. Sama means same. In samasthiti there is the same  and equal amount of body weight in both feet. The spine is straight, shoulder blades together and chin in to chest to activate jalandhara bandha, chin lock, to aide in closing of the glottis for ujjayi breathing.
